Forbes Magazine has named Kun Khmer fighter Thoeun Theara one of the 30 most remarkable personalities under 30 in the arts and sports. The renowned American magazine Forbes wrote that Thoeun Theara has raised global exposure of Cambodian martial arts Kun Khmer.
The ahlete from Prey Veng province began working to support his family when he was as young as ten years old. At the age of 15, Theara began practicing Khmer martial arts in Phnom Penh. In 2022, Theara rose to prominence as the first Cambodian boxer to win the King Cup in Thai Fight, defeating Thai boxer Saiyok Pumpanmuangin.
Theara is presently regarded as one of the best Kun Khmer boxers in Cambodia.
