On June 22, 2025, this weekend, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia will organize a number of sports programs to celebrate the Olympic Day and the first National Athletes Forum, with speakers including 7 former Olympic athletes who have represented Cambodia in the past Olympic Games.

On June 22, 2025, this weekend, the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia will organize a number of sports programs to celebrate the Olympic Day and the first National Athletes Forum, with speakers including 7 former Olympic athletes who have represented Cambodia in the past Olympic Games.


1. H.E. Vath Chamroeun, wrestler, participated in the Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA, 1996. 

2. Lok Chumteav Sorn Seavmey, a taekwondo athlete, participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and was the first Olympic athlete in the Olympic history of Cambodia to compete in many qualifying rounds until received the officially qualify as a “Qualified Athlete” in the Olympic Games.

3. Mr. Hem Kiri, a swimmer, participated in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. 

4. Ms. Chov Sotheara, a wrestler, participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

6. Mr. Chhun Bunthorn, an athletics athlete, participated in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. 

7. Ms. Sorn Davin, a taekwondo athlete, participated in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, United Kingdom.

It should be noted that, the National Athletes Forum will be held on Sunday, June 22 at the Morodok Techo National Stadium from 7 a.m. onwards, with the participation of 400 students, 200 students from Russey Keo High School and 200 students from Chea Sim Chamroeun Radh High School, plus 100 national team athletes, for a total of 500 persons.
