H.E. Dr. Thong Khon and H.E. Vath Chamroeun visit sports village in Paris

A visit to the SportsVillage in Paris, France, which houses athletes competing in the games, was made in the afternoon of July 25, 2024 by H.E. Dr. Senior Minister Thong Khon, President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), and H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, on behalf of H.E. Dr. Hangchuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.

During the visit, H.E. Dr. Thong Khon and H.E. Vath Chamroeun also reviewed the program's organization and gained knowledge about the organization, as well as the experience and dialogue with the athletes from Cambodia who reside in the sports village.

Note that: Three athletes from Cambodia, including sprinter Chhun Bunthorn who will competes in the 800 meters on August 7. Beginning on July 30, 2024, Antoine Le Lapparent will compete in the men’s 100-meter freestyle. On August 3, Sakbun Apsara Katarina will compete in the women’s 50-meter freestyle.
