Cambodia won 7 Medals at the World Kickboxing Championship in Thailand

Phnom Penh: The medal mission of Cambodia kickboxing athletes at the first Kickboxing World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand from April 7-12, with 52 participating countries, has ended, with Cambodia athletes won a total of 7 medals, including 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. This was confirmed by H.E. Heng Sokkhon, President of the Cambodia Kickboxing Federation from Thailand by Telegram at night of April 11, 2025.

H.E. President of the Federation highlighted that, this is a success in 2025 for Cambodia after Cambodia kickboxing athletes have worked hard to improve their skills for many months. However, for the mission to compete for medals at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, the Federation will sharpen to train harder to win more medals for Cambodia.

It should be noting that, the mission to compete for medals in the first Kickboxing World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand, there are more than 1,000 athletes from 52 countries around the world participating, while Cambodia has sent 13 athletes to participate with permission and support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the leaders of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.
