Secretary General of the Cambodia Tennis Federation claims that the 3 nights 4 days training camp in Siem Reap ended with the good results

Siem Reap: The training camp of The Cambodia Tennis Federation in Siem Reap to strengthen the capacity to prepare for the DAVIS CUP Group 4 which Cambodia to host in July 2024 for 3 nights and 4 days has ended with the result is positive as a united group.

Mr. Tep Rithivith, Secretary General of the Cambodia Tennis Federation and chief of the Camping Program, emphasized that according to the evaluation for the four-day team training, the results are very good, meaning that the players, who used to live far apart and separated for a while, like Bun Kenny, who was injured, took a break from training for a while, came back to train well, and Machu, who lives in the United States, who lived far away from local players, also trained to understand each other and work together to train well.

The Secretary General emphasized that after camping in Siem Reap, the five Cambodia National Team players were Bun Kenny, Leng Sarin Reach, Khleang Ponlok, Tep Timothy, and Cambodian-American athlete Machu will participate in the two-day tournament in Pattaya, Thailand, led by him to strengthen the team spirit for the international competition. 

Mr. Tep Rithivit, Secretary General, added that: What he has worked so far to host this historic DAVIS CUP Group 4, what he looks forward to and wants more than a victory is to leave the remember of Cambodia as well during the time when all seven countries came and competed in Cambodian.

With the hosting of the DAVIS CUP Group 4 World Series, the Secretary General of the Cambodia Tennis Federation, representing Lok Oknha Sear Rithy, President of the Federation, also requested to Cambodia people to support the Cambodian Tennis Players which starting from the 10th to 13th. The presence of the supporters is an encouragement to the Cambodia Players and is like as two Cambodia players competing with one player.

Please be informed that: Before hosting the World Event of DAVIS CUP Group 4, which Cambodia will host in July 2024, Cambodia has been participating for 12 years, starting from 2012.
