Phnom Penh: The Cambodia Gymnastics Federation has begun strengthening resources for Level 1 aerobics instructors to ensure quality in preparation for national and international competitions, especially for the Asian Youth Games 2029, which Cambodia will host for the first time.
H.E. Noy Phana, Secretary General of the Cambodia Gymnastics Federation, said that: For the training course, which is supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, there are 22 participants, which 4 participants from Kratie province, one from Kampong Cham province, one from Stung Treng province, five from Phnom Penh and 11 from Kampong Chhnang province, in that, there are 8 women.
“This course is to maintain the absorb of new skills, expand and strengthen technical capabilities for coaches, and this skill will provide a clearer understanding that it is a line for guiding the development of gymnastics according to the age level of athletes. In particular, this course emphasizes that coaches gain an understanding of the selection of young athletes according to the plan and principles of identifying talents for young athletes. This is an addition by H.E. Noy Phana.
It should be noted that: The technical course for gymnastics coaches on the level 1 aerobics coaches is focused on:
1-Academy Level 1 in Aerobic Gymnastics
2- The Development of National Gymnastics + Training Camp
3- Talent Identification
This course has 5 days from November 17 – 21, 2024 in Kampong Chhnang Province, while the trainers are H.E. Noy Phana and assistant coach Ms. Sao Soki.
