The Olympic Values ​​Education Program Focuses on Students

The Olympic Values ​​Education and Promotion Program continued until the third day on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, which was held at Wat Dambok Khpos High School.

Mr. Som Sothrithipong, the program’s instructor, said that the focus on outreach ​​to students so that they can use the values ​​from the Olympics to apply in their studies.

The above instructor explained that: “We want children and students to understand the three values ​​and how to use them in their daily lives. Just like the value of excellence, it focuses on trying our best, even if we win or don’t win, we still participate and try our best. So for them, as students, they can use all these values ​​by trying to learn and understand more. Even if they don’t get good grades, they still try their best.”

Mr. Som Soth, the director of Wat Dambok Khpos High School, said that: 69 of his students participated, mostly from grades 7 and 8. He said that the students participated happily in playing sports and learned about the special values ​​for daily life. In fact, his school always organizes sports programs for students for health.

Mr. Som Soth stated that: Wat Dambok Khpos Secondary School always welcomes other activities which has organized by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.​
