The 1st Badminton Pro Max Club Tournament had more than 30 participants

Phnom Penh: The 1st Badminton Pro Max Club Tournament, established by the SINDICATE badminton club in Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, was officially over last November 17, 2024, with more than 30 male and female players, businessmen and royal officials which participated in three disciplines: men's doubles, mixed doubles and 3-on-3.

The Vice President of the Cambodia Badminton Federation, H.E. Major General Cheam Sophea, said: Besides strengthening the friendship and solidarity, it is also a movement to inspire Cambodian people to think about health as a priority. When you are healthy, other diseases are not easy to bother and make our bodies strong and our families live happily.

On the other hand, the 1st Badminton Pro Max Club Friendship Tournament is also a part of encouraging the mindset and attracting young people who used to waste their time doing various bad things such as gambling and drug use that harm society and turn to practicing badminton to help their health and increase their intelligence, becoming role models in society for the future.

With participation in the friendship award of the 1st Badminton Pro Max Club Friendship Tournament, a male player Sok Meng and a female player Srey Pov, who are business people, also expressed that they were really happy to participate in the first Badminton Pro Max Club Friendship Tournament because it created a gathering of old players and players to strengthen friendships and creates the good relationships between business people and royal officials. For this tournament, whether we lose or win, we are still happy because it was building the good memories that are not easy and happen in the old ages.
