Leaders of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and Poland will discuss on MOU to help each other in sports

On Monday afternoon, May 20, 2024, in the courtroom of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, H.E Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, welcomed to His Excellency Tomasz Peroba, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Poland, who paid a courtesy call and began the relationship between both the National Olympic Committees.

After the first meeting, H.E Vath Chamroeun said that: There will be another important meeting between the leaders of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and the President of the National Olympic Committee of Poland in Paris, France during the event of the 2024 Olympic Games in July. The upcoming special meeting in Paris is to discuss in depth toward the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in order to exchange experiences and help each other in sports and the Olympic movement, because Poland is a strong country in the Olympic Sports, including the excellence of the European and World-class competition. His Excellency hopes that, this cooperation will benefit to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and our national athletes.

Not only that, reciprocal visits will also be possible related to sports activities. This is a good opportunity to develop the national sports and the Olympic sports movement of Cambodia, and toward the cooperation with European countries.

His Excellency Tomasz Peroba also expressed his surprise at the development in Cambodia when he came to visit now. His Excellency Tomasz Peroba, this year, aged 51, was also a professional football player.
