Mr. Jasper Martin Paas, head coach of the Cambodia Jiu-Jitsu Team, expressed his great joy over the achievements of his team at the 2025 Asian Championships U21 & Adults in Amman, Jordan, recently, where his team won 11 medals, including 2 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze.
The Dutch coach considers the above achievements to be the best and beyond expectations, as in the previous competition, his team only won 5 medals, all of which were bronze. He hopes that the team will improve its capabilities, especially in preparation for the World Championship and the SEA Games later this year, both will be held in Thailand. At the same time, the continuous good results also show that the efforts to produce outstanding athlete resources have indeed borne positive fruit.
Meanwhile, the female athletes, Kong Mona Jessica, Heng Siv Heang and Tin Sovannbuakeo showed great pride after won many medals for the Nation. This is the motivation for all three to continue their efforts.
Should be known that, the 2025 Asian Championships U21 & Adults in Amman, Jordan, took place from May 20 to 28. The Cambodia Jiu-Jitsu Federation sent 6 athletes such as male players Moeun Lim Sopanha, Kong Mona Mithora, Touch Pi Kakada, female athletes Tin Sovannbuakeo, Heng Siv Heang and Kong Mona Jessica.
