The opening ceremony of the event of the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA, will be held at two stadiums: the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and SoFi Stadium. This was confirmed by the Organizing Commission of the Summer Olympic Games 2028, or LA 28.
The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which was used for the event of the 1932 and 1984 Olympic Games, will also host the closing ceremony, becoming the first venue to host the Olympic Games for three times.
Meanwhile, out of hosting the Olympic Games, SoFi Stadium will host the Paralympic Opening Ceremony on August 15, and the Closing Ceremony will be held at the Coliseum Stadium on August 27.
The event of the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles will take place from July 14 to 30, 2028, featuring 36 sports and divided into 351 events.
