The Kun Khmer Federation Will Hold the General Assembly on January 22, 2025

Phnom Penh: According to an interview with H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, after the meeting with H.E. Khov Chhay, President of the Kun Khmer Federation on the preparation of the fund report which received from the charity football program and the General Assembly to end the mandate in the morning of January 8, 2025, the General Assembly to end the old mandate of the Kun Khmer Federation will be held on January 22, 2025.

His Excellency Secretary of State emphasized that: This meeting was held in response to the request of the leadership of the Kun Khmer Federation on two agendas: 1. Preparing the reports on fund which has received from the charity football program. 2. Discussing the mechanism for organizing the general assembly to end the old mandate of the federation. This is a step-by-step discussion and implementation to gain understanding and towards successful implementation.

It should be noting that: What to make the General Assembly to end the old mandate of the Kun Khmer Federation was delayed in organizing in year 2024 and continued to 2025, due to the disagreements in the Executive Committee that is disagreements. 

According to additional information from H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the funding package received from the charity football program organized by the Kun Khmer Federation recently amounted to more than 1000 million riels and it approximates half a million dollars, which all of these budgets will be used to support the Kun Khmer Sector.
