The Kun Khmer International Federation (KIF) is set to organise a tournament this September in Preah Sihanouk Province

Phnom Penh: The International Kun Khmer Federation (IKKF) held a meeting to review work progress and plans for organizing competitions, which is the target for 2025 in the morning of May 9, 2025 at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

H.E. Vath Chamroeun emphasized that, through in-depth discussions, the first result was that we agreed to organize the competition of the international Kun Khmer championships in September 2025 in Preah Sihanouk province.

Out of discussing about the competition planning project for 2025, we also discussed a common mechanism for harmonization between the Kun Khmer Federation and the International Kun Khmer Federation on the development of fighting standards, competition regulations, both human resources and techniques, especially management and leadership, in order to have consistency and unity within our nation and internationally, so that the member countries of Kun Khmer receive one information, one voice of our national Kun Khmer.

Meanwhile, H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the International Kun Khmer Federation, also highlighted that due to the support of H.E. Khov Chhay, President of the Kun Khmer Federation, the International Kun Khmer Federation will hold a conference to adjust some conditions in the near future before organizing the World Kun Khmer Championships to let all participating countries can recognize the leadership and management of the new structure of the International Kun Khmer Federation.

. His Excellency affirmed that when our forces are gathered, we will boost and promote the development of Kun Khmer for the greater good of our nation.
