H.E. Khov Chhay announced the opening of a charity football match to raise funds to help the poor clubs

Phnom Penh: The charity friendly football event under the topic "We Promote Kun Khmer Martial Arts Together" is a competition held to raise the voluntary donations from philanthropists from everywhere to help the poor boxing clubs are in need the training facilities and place.

H.E. Khov Chhay, President of the Kun Khmer Federation and Chairman of the Kun Khmer Football Team, said that: By visiting and studying many clubs in provinces, has seen the shortage and the difficulties of many clubs as like as the training places, equipment and budget, but they only have the physical and mental strength to train hard. By seeing the shortcomings and hardships of the coaches, athletes who struggle in those Kun Khmer Boxing, just we have all figured out how to create this kind of friendly football program to receive a charitable funds from philanthropists to alleviate some of their hardships. 

His Excellency claimed that: The money raised from philanthropists through this charity friendly football event will be used to help the Kun Khmer Boxing Clubs in need with difficulty, including the construction of training facilities and repairing of clubs to provide training shelters of Kun Khmer martial arts players appropriately.

At the same time, His Excellency also called on philanthropists everywhere to contribute to the charity fund, no matter how much or how little, please support the Kun Khmer Boxing Clubs in need by inputting through the team of the Kun Khmer Boxing Federation from the date of this announcement until the day of the competition to help promote the development of poor boxing clubs to be able to train Kun Khmer Martial Arts resources in turn. 

This competition is a great honor with the full support of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Samdech Kittiprittbandit.

Please note that the match has 2 pairs, starting from 3 pm on October 29, 2024 at the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Stadium. The first match of the Cambodian Star Football Team (B) competes with the Khmer Boxing Commentary Team and the second match is the match between the Cambodian Star Football Team (A) with the Kun Khmer Boxing Team.
