Cambodia sports delegates will have the special discussion in the AYG mission meeting in Bahrain

On Tuesday evening, May 13, three Cambodia sports delegates, including H.E. Pon Sok, Director General of Sports of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, H.E. Nhan Sokvisal, Head of Mission of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, and Mr. An Chentra Samrit, Deputy Director of the Department of Organizing, will attend the meeting of the chief of mission for the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, which will be held at this weekend.

H.E. Nhan Sokvisal said that, the meeting was attended by heads of missions from 45 countries whose athletes will compete in the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain later this year. All participants will hear about the progress of the host country's work, especially regarding the competition venues, training grounds, accommodation and food, as well as other issues that may be raised by the participating countries.

The Head of Mission said that, the Cambodia side will have a bilateral meeting with the host country on various tasks such as receiving the flag, which Cambodia will host again in 2029. Therefore, this special meeting will discuss in detail how to prepare for the reception in Bahrain. In fact, Cambodia has also prepared a sports delegation and special projects to receive the flag of the Asian Youth Games from Bahrain.
