Mr. Choi Yongsuk, coach of the Cambodia WT Taekwondo national team, said that: three athletes in team, there are two male athletes and one female athlete will participate in the 2025 Asian Youth Games, which will be held from October 22 to 31 in Manama, Bahrain.


In the first participation for Cambodia Taekwondo WT, the South Korean coach said that: the participating team has been had some experience in the international competitions and in the past he tried to fill their shortcomings before going to Bahrain. Of course, the goal of participating in the competition is to compete for medals, but what is the most important thing that is to strengthen themselves first.

For male athlete Seng Mengchun, female athlete Heng Malis and male athlete Kea Sophea, who are candidates for the 2025 Asian Youth Games, claim that they have been trained hard in the past. They will do all their best to achieve positive results for the nation, even though it is their first time participating in the Asian Level.


Taekwondo WT is in among the 13 sports from Cambodia that has been decided to send to the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain in the late this month. For the competition disciplines, Mr. Choi Yongsuk, the Cambodia WT Taekwondo coach, said that focusing is on fighting disciplines.
