Kampong Chhnang provincial sports leader hopes students will learn more about the value of sports

Mr. Nong Sarun, Chief of the Sports Office of the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sports, expressed his pleasure that the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia organized the Olympic Values ​​Education course for students in his province at Preah Bat Suramarit High School on Wednesday afternoon, December 17, 2025.

Mr. Chief of the office believes that the Olympic Values ​​Education course will inspire the idea and knowledge to athletes as well as the Olympic Movement to reach all students, and they will continue to spread out to their friends. He said that, this is the first time that students in his province have received knowledge from the Olympic Movement. He expects that his students will understand more about the value of playing sports.

Mr. Som Sothrithipong, who is an instructor, said that the students have understood about the core values ​​of the Olympic Movement and can be able to implement them in their daily studies. These core values ​​include excellence, friendship and mutual respect, which students can practice in their studies and daily lives.
