The competition of the National Gymnastics Championship and the 2025 trophy of H.E. Dr. Thong Khon is processing at the Gymnastics Hall at the National Olympic Stadium from December 26 to 31.
H.E. Noy Phana, Secretary General of the Cambodia Gymnastics Federation, said that this year’s participation is no different from last year, with teams from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defense, Kampong Chhnang Province, Kratie Province, and Stung Treng Province, consisting of 64 athletes and 33 technical officials, with funding from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
His Excellency the Secretary General emphasized that, what needs to be focused on is that the scoring by technical officials must be transparent, fair, and fair play. Meanwhile, the federation is also focused on preparing athletes for the international competitions in 2026 and beyond, especially in 2031, when Cambodia will host the Asian Youth Games. In fact, there were many 11- to 12-year-old male and female players in this year's national championship.
