There are 25 trainees who are police officials from the Anti-Cyber Crime Department of the General Commissariat of National Police received certificates from the Khmer Hapkido Federation on Saturday morning, February 28, 2026, after completing a 20-hour training course on the martial art of Hapkido.

Lieutenant General Heng Samnang, Deputy Director of the Anti-Cyber Crime Department of the General Commissariat of National Police, and high representing Lieutenant General Sok Ny, Director of the Department, said that Hapkido is very important in the situation of suppressing suspects because it has many techniques, both locking arms and catching. That is why the Department of Anti-Cyber Crime has collaborated with the Khmer Hapkido Federation to prepare a plan for training its police officials. This year is also the second year that the training course has been organized, after the first one was held in 2025.

Lieutenant General Heng Samnang emphasized that, after receiving this important training, his officials have been able to carry out more effective suppression work according to the rules of martial arts.
Meanwhile, Lork Ouk Nha Kouch Hongchiek, acting president of the Khmer Hapkido Federation, thanked to the General Commissariat of National Police for choosing Hapkido for the Police Forces. Lork Ouk Nha stated that, Hapkido has special techniques suitable for suppressing suspects.

Lork Ouk Nha Kouch Hongchiek stated that, the Khmer Hapkido Federation welcomes other relevant departments to train forces in martial arts to suppress suspects effectively.
