The Olympic Solidarity Course on Sports Administration Has Benefits for Better Sports Leadership

The instructor of the Olympic Solidarity Course on Sports Administration highlighted that, the course provided benefits and guidance for better sports leadership. 


H.E. Noy Phana, instructor and official of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, representing H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, highlighted that the Olympic Solidarity Course on Sports Administration, which the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia introduced to officials of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Kandal Province for 4 days from February 23 to 26, 2026, provided the great benefits for using and leadership in the sports sector, helping to indicate how to lead to make the sports sector in the province to be better.

He said that, this course taught many important lessons, such as the history of the International Olympic Committee and the leadership style of the international sports organizations, which help sports leaders to implement and use in sports leadership. Good governance emphasizes the virtues of leadership in sports society. Planning for leaders is preparing to organize various plans, such as selecting athletes according to sports medicine to obtain good sports resources in the future and preparing plans to lead sports delegates to compete both domestically and internationally to achieve successful leadership.

Fair play is teaching the organizing officials, leaders, coaches and athletes to understand the rules of the game, meaning that to pay fairly and justly, especially the formula of the game that helps the organization of the competition run smoothly and successfully.


The organizing of the training programs that can help coaches and athletes have training plans to achieve quality and progress in sports technical qualities and plans to attract more new athletes to participate more and more.

His Excellency strongly hoped that, through this course, all participants will bring these knowledge and skills that gained from the instructors to take to implement and teach to basic to continue developing in the sports sector in provinces.

Please confirm that, the Olympic Solidarity Course on Sports Administration, which organized by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and sponsored by the International Olympic Committee, ran from February 23 to 26, 2026, with 24 participants from the Department of Education Youth and Sports and physical education and sports teachers from educational institutions around the province.
