Phnom Penh: The E-Sport Federation of Cambodia (EFC) organized the general assembly to end the third mandate 2022-2026 and continue the fourth mandate 2026-2030 in the morning of March 1, 2026 at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information. By H.E. Dr. Chea Chanboribour, the president of the old mandate federation, received support from members to continue leading the new mandate.

H.E. Dr. Chea Chanboribour said that, the federation has made the efforts to continue developing the Cambodia E-sports Federation step by step. During the old mandate, the federation has also achieved many achievements through the development of resources of national athlete’s team more and more, especially winning medals for the country from the international competitions in the past.

Meanwhile, after the E-Sports Federation of Cambodia signed on a memorandum with the drug authority, H.E. Dr. Chea Chanboribour has urged all E-Sport athletes to help spread out the education and set a good standard in staying away from drugs. There are approximately 30,000 E-Sport athletes and if each of them shared just one message per month, we would have 30,000 messages to spread awareness about the dangers of drug use.

Therefore, Cambodian e-sports athletes have great potential to spread awareness about the dangers of drug use online. H.E. Doctor urged all male and female athletes to unite and spread awareness to avoid the use of banned substances in sports.

Please confirm that, for composition of the EFC Executive Committee for the new mandate 2026-2023 have 9 members: H.E. Dr. Chea Chanboribour as President, Mr. Chi Sila as Vice President, H.E. Lun Samady as Secretary General, accompanied by two Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Chean Chanra and Mr. Vann Sambour, as well as 4 other members. The General Assembly was also attended by H.E. Noy Phana, representative of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, and representatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
