Four high school students in Phnom Penh understood more about the Olympic values and values of sports

After sharing knowledge on the Olympic values ​​education at four schools in Phnom Penh, Mr. Buy Sophoan, the instructor of programs, highly appreciated the students’ participation over the past four days.

 

In fact, His Excellency the advisor to the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia emphasized that, the students have become more aware and understood more about the Olympic values ​​as well as the values ​​of sports and have actively participated in playing sports.

Mr. Buy Sophoan has also reminded about the ceasefire, which was established since the time of the ancient Greek Olympics, which required states at war, must suspend hostilities to provide security and safety for athletes to participate in the competition. Therefore, the Olympic values ​​have contributed significantly to building peace in the world.

 

Mr. Ouk Bunnarith, Director of Chea Sim Chroy Changva High School, said that his students have become more interested in playing sports after attending the Olympic Values ​​Education course which organized by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia. The Director has also encouraged students to participate in more sports to gain good health and wisdom.

Please note that, the 2025 Olympic Values ​​Education Campaign has reached its final school in Phnom Penh, Chea Sim Chroy Changva High School, on Friday morning, December 12, 2025, with more than 100 students after being organized at Chattomuk Secondary School, Chea Sim Samaki High School, and Preah Sisowath High School.
